| The Old Gratitude House Bed & Breakfast is a new addition to Rock Hall, on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Originally built in a Victorian style about 1900, on the Chesapeake Bay in what was then called Gratitude Point, the house was expanded in 1999 and modernized in 2005 to create on of the finest bed & breakfasts in the area. |

The owners, Sandy and Hank Mayer, are from Annapolis, where they owned and operated one of the most successful bed & breakfasts in the Historic District. Sandy and Hank are creating a relaxing, comfortable and elegant bed & breakfast that takes full advantage of the soothing water's edge, while also offering access to a variety of activities that will keep you busy.

Alas, our magic gourmet breakfasts on the decks
overlooking the Bay must move inside for the winter
months. But nothing can compete with a warm living
room fireplace, soft piano music and a warm drink or
sparkling glass of wine, as the wonderful aroma of baked
specialties drift through the house. Enjoy dinner at one of the many great restaurants in the area, including the famous Waterman's Crabhouse and return at the end of the day to relax outside on the Gratitude House's deck or lawn to enjoy a breathtaking sunset. |

| The Old Gratitude House Bed & Breakfast offers you the choice of four beautifully decorated comfortable guestrooms and suites with private decks facing onto the Chesapeake Bay. A fifth smaller room, the Navy Blue & Gold, is available for a third person in your party or someone traveling alone. The house is fully air conditioned, and all rooms have private baths, and TVs with DVD players. Wi-Fi (high-speed wireless) Internet access is available throughout the house and grounds. |
