Denmark is in Lincoln County. It is the location of some of best B&Bs around. There are only 21 people living in the town but there’s still plenty to do. Hunter's Luncheon and Bazaar, a bake sale and craft fair, is held the first day of pheasant season in Denmark. Elsie's Herbs and Flowers is one of the few businesses in the town of Denmark and worth a visit. Another place to see in Denmark is The Wade House, which is a quaint old Danish home. Abundant in the county is "post rock" limestone, which was used to construct the Evangelical Lutheran Church and a school. Inside the church is a model of a Danish ship. Pick up a picnic at Extra Innings Barbeque in Lincoln, on your way to Denmark. Then secure reservations at a Denmark bed and breakfast or inn for your overnight stay. There are no restaurants in Denmark, but there is Swiggenvittles Bar and Grill in Lincoln, which can provide you with a picnic lunch for your day trip to Denmark.
