Walnut Grove Farm Guest House - Knoxville, Illinois Lodging at the Guest House offers a personalized farm experience on an historic farmstead, year round. Built around 1900, the Guest House furnishings are an eclectic collection and they reflect that era and beyond. It is a two-bedroom bungalow with a full bath, living room, dining room and kitchen. A continental breakfast is provided in the Guest House kitchen, which also has a full-size stove and refrigerator, cooking utensils and tableware, making personal food preparation possible. There is a phone with a data port. Rooms in the house are rented only to members of the same party. No pets and no smoking inside. The farm is conveniently located within a mile of Knoxville, Illinois and five miles from Galesburg. In the heart of the Illinois prairie, you can rest and relax or envision what life was like on a 19th century farm or observe Knox county farm life as it happens every day.

Walnut Grove Farm is an historic farm that offers visitors a unique glimpse into life 100 years ago. Fall festivals at the farm allow visitors to step back in time to relive lost arts and learn about life in the past. The historic barn, built around 1865, can also be rented for weddings or other family festivities. Walnut Grove Farm floral designers can provide flowers for your special occasions at the farm or the location of your choice in our region. Walnut Grove Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Rates and Policies
  • $80 per night for two guests.
  • $40 each for additional guest.
  • A single reservation is $60.
  • Children 10 and under are $20 each.
  • To hold a reservation, a non-refundable deposit is required equal to the first night's lodging.
