This Victorian home was built in 1876 and is situated on 35 acres of woods and fields at the northwestern edge of historic Mt. Carroll. Country and Victorian rooms are available where guests are treated to warm hospitality and a full country breakfast of homemade breads and other specialties. Make this your home away from home.

The Victorian NEW FOR THE WINTER-- We have added a small beautiful fireplace to this room for added comfort and ambiance. Walk into the romantic atmosphere of the Victorian Era. You will be delighted with marble tops, grandma's feather bed in the winter, hand stenciling, all furnished elegantly with antique furniture. Luxurious queen size walnut bed, cable TV and VCR. Shared bath.

Country Room If the "country look" is your passion, you will be enamored with our antique furnishing specially selected for these quarters. Wicker furniture, patchwork quilts, antique pictures, an old family trunk, magazines and books and queen sized brass bed, TV/VCR. Private bath. Aunt Elisabeth's (not pictured) We have dedicated this room to Aunt Elisabeth and furnished it in a way she may have liked to live. Marble top dressers, hand stenciling, old books and lots of antiques, queen size bed and cable TV. Shared bath.

Country Room

Reservation Information: Rates: $89 for double occupancy and includes a full breakfast. Full advance deposit is required for all reservations. Credit card numbers may be used to guarantee reservations. MasterCard and VISA accepted. Guaranteed rooms will be held until checkout time of the following morning. Refund of advance deposit will be made when notice of cancellation is received 72 hours prior to the 4:00 p.m. check-in time of the day of the reservation. If cancellation or no-show occurs after the 72 hours limit, your credit card will be charged; if the room is resold, you will not be charged. Guest Information: Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Rates include Complimentary Full Breakfast Sorry, no CHILDREN or PETS. We kindly request that should you smoke, you do so outside the home only.
