Introduction

The Gates House Bed & Breakfast, built in 1880, is located in the heart of the historic district of Columbus. This elegant inn allows you to step back in time to the opulence of the Victorian period. The elegant formal dining room can be enjoyed or used for special occasions. The Gates House Bed & Breakfast - Columbus, Georgia The beautifully furnished parlor is a delightful mix of Victorian and French furniture. This elegant room invites you to sit, relax, and enjoy the owner's extensive collections. Or perhaps you may wish to take advantage of the library with books, games, and magazines.

The front porch, with antique wicker, invites you to enjoy your breakfast and watch the slow awakening of the day. The breakfast is special, featuring homemade sourdough and brown sugar cinnamon pecan French toast with choice of meats and at least three fruits, juice, coffee and/or tea.

All rooms include private baths, color TV with VCR, clock radio, telephone with modem lines, and antique furniture.

Guestrooms Descriptions
The Peacock Room
(Honeymoon suite) 		features a large Jacuzzi tub, fireplace,
cable TVs and VCR.
The Oak Room features a queen-size bed and a soaking tub.
The Lace Room features twin beds and a walk-in shower.
Room rates range from $95 to $175 per night
