Floral City is located in Citrus County Florida, the town was named Floral City for its abundance of wild flowers which continue to this day. This city is a true slice of Old Florida still remaining intact. Floral city is bordered on the east by the Withlacoochee River is in the middle of the Withlacoochee State Forest, Floral City also marks the beginning of the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes which run north into the Gulf of Mexico for the next 50 miles along the Withlacoochee River.
