Darrell Finely, Manager The Original Romar House Bed and Breakfast Inn Darrell Finley, the long time Manager of The Original Romar House Bed and Breakfast Inn, has been the Manager since 1996 for thirteen years. Darrell helped to rebuild the Romar House after Hurricane Ivan completely destroyed the downstairs rooms in 2004. He refers guests to the finest restaurants, fishing charters, golf courses, places to shop, historical sites and other places that are of interest to the guests. Darrell hosts wine and cheese on Monday through Saturday evening in the Purple Parrott Bar at the Romar House, and serves a full southern breakfast every morning from "around" 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. If you're lucky, Darrell will serve his "better than sex" Peach Pancakes one morning while you are staying at the Romar House. He has been recognized as an outstanding Manager by the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce with the "Catch the Island Spirit Award" for his continuous promotion of the gulf coast area. |
